Very Poor
Having read most of the reviews I've noticed that a lot of people who
like myself didn't like the film also didn't watch it in 3D. This makes
me wonder if a majority of fans were so awe struck by the Magic of 3D
that they were blinded to the fact thats its a re-hashed plot with poor
acting and no character development. The main story is Dances with
Wolves, the bad corporate and incompetent military are from Aliens and
the switching between two realities is taken from the Matrix films. The
CGI is overbearing and cartoonish, it never looks real. The Na'vi are a
cross between a giant hippie smurf, a cat and an American Indian, a
mixture of pure goodness that no one could possibly hate, could they?
They live as one with mother Pandora, use bow and arrows and are quite
possibly the most irritating alien species to ever grace the silver
screen. The humans are mostly greedy and idiotic or so angelically good
they can take a bullet to the stomach with a sly quip and total lack of
stress. What do the humans want on Pandoro, a rare mineral called
Unobtainium. Pllllllease could the script writing be any more lazy. So
to any one who has only seen this film in 3D please watch it again
without the emperors new clothes and see if you still rate this mess so
highly. I will endeavor to see it in 3D on day.
