The Film is about a soldier Jake Sully who comes to Pandora planet, where he meets the Na'Vi tribes helping by the AVATAR project

In the film ''AVATAR'' we can experience great journey to NA'VI world.
The film was inspired on great idea about other planet, NA'VI tribes
and etc. Also in following film we meet an amazing 3D, visual and
special effects. And every time i watch this film, it seems like the
first, because of it's great idea and visual effects, which makes the
film higher than other 3D film ever released worldwide.

One of the important elements in movies is soundtrack, which is
composed by James Horner and it's excellent.

The main idea of this film was the NA'VI which is really hard to
understand, when i saw that film first I did't get everything well,
when watched second time, some things i understood. So maybe many of us
must watch this film twice to understand everything. Also the reason of
attacking Pandora is produced poorly in following film.

Lastly, I can say that the film was worthy to show to the world,
despite of it had some problems.

That is the reason I voted 9. To ''AVATAR''

I think people were blinded by the 3D

I was out of the country while this was in the movies so I didn't get
to see it there. The first time I saw this was at home when it came out
on DVD. I heard the hype, everyone said it was the coolest movie ever,
but make sure to see it in 3D. I know 3D is neat, I've seen 3D movies
since I was a kid. Moving on… The first thing I noticed was the
biggest flaw in movies. Who's the likable character? The native girl? I
didn't like any of them. Sigourney Weaver was mean. The main guy was
annoying. And the native girl was condescending. It's the normal story,
evil money-grubbing people vs the peaceful environmentalists. It
reminded me of a Captain Planet episode. And it just went on and on and
on… I don't even remember how it ended, I got bored and started
playing on my computer. In the end: it's long, boring, and clichéd.

    Lots of fluff, no substance

*** This review may contain spoilers ***

I came into watching this film after it was shown in theaters. I didn't
want the hoopla to convince me to get caught up in the Avatar Adoration
(though it didn't hold its stay with Inception, so maybe I just
    overrated its power).

After watching this film, I now understand why filmmakers add 3D to
their work. They add it because they've got nothing else to put in.
Although the settings and creatures were interesting and/or beautiful,
it was there to distract you from the story… …which was pure tripe on a
bike. As a quick example, I cheated and checked out how long the movie
was before pressing play. 2:20-ish, a long movie by modern standards
(not mine, if it's good). So I knew that it would be vital for
0:40-1:20 to contain a lot of action-packed or conversational scenes.
In a film ranging from 2:20-2:45, this is the point where the audience
will get bored of eye candy and exposition and will need a little
    variety.

At 40 minutes, Neytiri tells Jake that he is like a baby, and needs to
be trained. What's going on at 1:20, you ask? He's been trained.
Essentially, I wasted 40 minutes of my life watching nothing but a
    happy-go-lucky inter-species (you know it's true, it was inter-species)
romance. For any other film, I would have given this treatment of the
audience low marks. And I'm going to do it to the writer of this
"plot." This is flat-out ridiculous. What does the author think I am,
some technophile who can't enjoy a movie without oodles of special
effects? Excuse the analogy if you find it offensive, but I see Avatar
as borderline pornographic, in a metaphorical sense. Modern porn lacks
a story because that's not what people are watching it to see, they
just want to see inappropriate things going on while they watch the
screen. Apparently, modern movie makers think nobody wants a good
story, excellent composition, or interesting characters, they just want
lots of CGI. Ironically, Star Wars provides excellent examples on both
ends of the spectrum—Episode II had over 500 CGI shots, for
instance—just watch all six for some perspective on that.

***MAJOR SPOILER IN THE PARAGRAPH BELOW***

Now, we see Avatar, a CGI-fest with a complete lack of story, like Star
Wars Episode III. Poor character development. I've seen better in
teen-written fan fiction of Disney cartoons. No, I'm not exaggerating.
Horrific development. If you have insomnia, this movie's plot
development is a perfect cure. Furthermore, you can have pleasant
dreams about a colorful alien world, because it's the last thing you
see before passing out. And you'll probably not even wake up for the
part where they blow up the tree.

All this said, I will give Avatar a last reprieve—the envisioning of
the alien world was indeed attractive. Cameron knew how to appeal to
his audience, and he would not back down until he got the reaction he
    wanted.

Incisive indictment of the evil that is the human race.

*** This review may contain spoilers ***

A masterful polemic by a man who evidently quite properly despises the
    species he was born into.

No expense was spared in this tour-de-force of anti-mankind propaganda,
complete with lovely blue kitty-cat aliens, sure to seduce younger
viewers into wishing they had been born anything but human, as (with
certain Cameron-approved exceptions, such as those who wish to reject
their humanity and culture and join the lovely blue kitty-cat
opposition) all humans are, as we all know, evil, wanton, destructive
demons bent on destroying nature and beauty, preferably with the most
    flammable means at their disposal.

The fact that the plot may be somewhat derivative of a half-dozen or so
prior films should in no way detract from the important message this
film has to deliver of the basic worthlessness of all human culture up
to this point (except for Native American, Asian, African and anywhere
else that isn't Western European), and if you do not walk away from
this film with the proper sense of loathing for yourself, your family,
everyone you know, and every human being who has ever been born or will
ever be born (except for James Cameron), then you are obviously a
selfish wastrel bastard who hates lovely blue kitty-cat aliens, actual
    kittens, and the universe itself.
