Blood On The Tracks
SLAM-BANG is a savage, barbarous, bloodstained grab bag of a film, but
chugs along like 'The Little Malevolent Engine That Could'. Think of a
Tom Tykwer project produced and directed by film students with a yen
for thuggery. This extremely violent approach is more attuned to what
is happening these days on the international Horror Genre scene. Never
the less, SLAM-BANG is a fairly decent contribution to the genre of
Gangster Noir, and does not aspire to be anything more. NIGHT OF THE
LIVING DEAD meets RUN LOLA RUN. Three And A Half Stars. This film could
have been fleshed out, and padded, but it seems that the cast and crew
did the best that the could with what was available. One big 'black
mark' is that the production values were on the poor side. The film had
a very washed out look, and did not at all help the overall impression
of the work.

Different, has a good on going action
Looking at the actors profile, 80% of them it's their first film. And
it didn't look like it. I liked it, it's different, not bad for this
type of film, the idea it's a good one, not a Hollywood ending, and I
really liked that.
As for the acting, they seem realistic, a little missing background
story but at the end it doesn't matter.
Hard to make a comment with out giving away some part of the movie, but
if you like this type of movies, go for it. Rent it.
If you are looking for a love story… not happening.
At first I thought it was a UK film, it has that feel. A bit of South
African slang that I didn't get, but I assume what it meant.
